What is a Markdown editor?

A Markdown editor is a place to write and change .md files. MD Viewer’s editor shows the source on one side and a live preview on the other, so you can see headings, lists, and code as you type.

Does the editor include live preview?

Yes. Split view keeps the Markdown editor and the preview in sync. You can also switch to source-only, preview-only, or print.

Will editing rewrite my Markdown?

Ordinary typing does not run an automatic formatter. Unedited imports keep their original bytes. After you edit, the file is saved with the encoding and line endings already recorded.

Is this MD file editor free?
