Scope
MD Viewer is a browser-only Markdown editor, merger, diff checker, and print workspace. It does not create user accounts.
Drafts, preferences, and device-only previews stay in this browser until you download them or clear site data.
What stays on your device
Writing, preview, merge, print, diff, and local HTML or Markdown download run in this browser. That path does not send your source to an MD Viewer server.
The application uses IndexedDB for draft recovery and browser storage for preferences and device-only preview records.
What MD Viewer does not collect
MD Viewer does not keep a user locker.
- No account identifiers. MD Viewer does not create logins.
- No cloud copies of your Markdown.
- No conversion kitchen in this release, so office files are not uploaded.
Controls
Use Workspace settings to clear MD Viewer files stored in this browser. Downloaded files on disk are not touched.
